Trehill Farm is run by Peter and Gina Smithies and is situated at the most south westerly tip of Wales, within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park (PCNP) surrounded by sea on three sides with views of the famous bird islands of Skomer and Skokholm.

Traditional early potato production is the main enterprise. Varieties are selected for earliness and flavour.

The seed potatoes arrive in November and are sprouted in trays. Planting starts in February when the land dries and soil temperatures permit. Lifting commences around the third week in May, depending on the spring weather. Potatoes are harvested, graded and packed as loose flow New Potatoes on farm before being despatched to the Retailers. These potatoes are new season potatoes, fluffy skinned, sweet tasting as new potatoes should be. A true delicacy and a taste of early summer.

The Whear family have been farming Godrevey Farm since the early nineties. The 160 acre farm is situated near Haylein West Cornwall, within the National Trust property of Godrevey beach and is bordered by the popular South West Coast Path.

Godrevey Farm is surrounded by the sea and is only yards
from Godrevey Lighthouse, one of the most iconic landmarks
in Cornwall. At one end of the farm is the three mile long Gwithian beach that borders the famous St Ives Bay.

Traditional broccoli production takes place at the farm through summer months and cauliflower in the
winter months. Varieties are chosen for timeliness, flavour and yield. Small plants are grown from seed
locally at Fentongollan Farm in Truro, and are planted between March and July when the ground is dry
enough. Godrevey Farm is so close to the sea that it rarely experiences frost giving the best quality
winter cauliflower, and the summers are cooler giving the broccoli a wonderful fresh quality.
